Pauline Roussin-Bouchard goes on the attack

After his inaugural 69 (-2), Pauline Roussin-Bouchard (photo) confirms by signing a very solid 67 (-5) this Friday in Mobile (Alabama). With a score of -7 (136), here she is at the foot of the podium (5th), two points behind the South Korean Na Rin An and the Swedish Linnea Johansson. Author of a good 70 (-2), Agathe Laisné gained seventeen places on the leaderboard (36th to -2).

Already in legs the day before with a very serious 69 (-2) on the difficult Falls Course (par 71 of 6,074 meters), Pauline Roussin-Bouchard is positioned from the second round of these Q-Series marathon (twice four laps in two weeks) at the top of the leaderboard. His 67 (-5) of the day on the Crossings Course (par 72 of 6,094 meters) – seven birdies, two bogeys – indeed allows him to point at the foot of the podium, in 5th place (tied) at -7 (136).

The Drômoise roadmap is for the moment perfectly respected since we know it, the first 70 and tied will validate Sunday evening their ticket for the second act in Dothan (Alabama) between December 9 and 12 with, as a result, a complete playing right on the LPGA Tour by finishing in the top 20 final.

« Pauline signed a solid game today with eighteen greens taken in regulation, explains his trainer, Alain Alberti. The putter stayed cold until the 8th before six birdies from 9-16, including two par 5s taken in 2. Basically, she putt sixteen times between 1.50 and 6 meters. The game is here. But there are still six laps left, so we are not going to ignite. »

Laisné and Aimé, always on the right side of the border

Second round also interesting for Agathe Laisne which, on the Crossings Course, returns a good 70 (-2) which opens the doors to the top 40 (36th to -2).

Long in the first third of the leaderboard thanks to two birdies (at 12 and 15) against a bogey (at 13) on the Falls Course, Julie Aimé unfortunately cracked at 17th then at 18th with two other bogeys which forced him to fall back in the standings. 40th Thursday evening at -1, the Niçoise, who plays on the Symetra Tour, is now beyond the top 50 (53rd in the par total).

Emma Broze tries to resist

Nice reaction fromEmma Broze, in great difficulty on the Crossings Thursday with a heavy 78 (+6) but who managed to play in the par on the Falls Course (71). At +6 (149) after 36 holes, it nibbles seven places but still remains far from a virtual cut set at +1.

Orders for these Q-Series are shared at -9 (134) by the South Korean and KLPGA resident, Na Rin An, and by the Swedish Linnea Johansson, 170th in the Race this year. The two young women posted the same 67 card on the Crossings Course. They are one point ahead of another South Korean, Hy-Chin Choi, and the Danish Emily Kristine Pedersen, co-leader twenty-four hours ago.
