Paris FC: supporters “outraged and stunned” by the sanctions

“Incomprehensible”. This is how the fans qualify this Tuesday morning the decisions of the disciplinary commission of the French Football Federation (FFF) pronounced Monday against Paris FC. After the incidents at the Charléty stadium on December 17 between Olympique Lyonnais ultras and PSG independents who came to battle, the security system of the enclosure hosting the Ligue 2 club was singled out by the FFF. She therefore decided to suspend Paris FC from the field for the next five home games. All in addition to a disqualification from the Coupe de France and a fine of 10,000 euros.

“The penalties are very harsh, Judge Axel, subscriber to Charléty and present during the interrupted match against OL. We sanction the PFC supporters with elimination, we deprive them of their stadium for five games while we are talking about an exemplary public that does not pose any problem. It’s violent. We are outraged, stunned ”. “Five games is a bit of a shock, continues Fabien, a subscriber since 2015. We were starting to expect the game to be lost but not that. The next match at Charléty will only be in March (Editor’s note: reception from Pau)… We have the balls ”.

But where will the PFC play?

While waiting to know if the club of the capital intends to appeal the decision of the FFF, the fans are all asking the same question: where will Paris FC go to play for these five sanction matches? “There is no closed door so that’s already won, says Fabien. If it’s Jean-Bouin (Editor’s note: in the 16th arrondissement), okay. But if we have to play in Beauvais (Oise), it will be without me ”. “This morning, I read the possibility of Le Mans in the press,” explains Axel. But that means additional costs of transport, of the organization with the children who are also subscribers. We feel unfairly punished ”.

Especially since Paris FC, current third in Ligue 2, is at the heart of the battle for the rise to the next level. And that he will have to “receive” Le Havre, Ajaccio and Sochaux, three direct competitors, during the sanction period. “What is horrible is to think that 50 morons among the Lyon supporters distort a whole championship, does not take Fabien off. PFC players and fans pay the price ”. “We have been showing great things in the league lately,” recalls Axel. We need all the assets to go up and it starts by playing home games with supporters. It will not be a very favorable context ”.
