LE FIGARO. – What do the Paralympic Games represent, a golden opportunity, a challenge or a huge project?
Tony ESTANGUET. – A golden opportunity. This event is a great opportunity for France. It is the first time that our country will organize the Paralympic Summer Games. It’s an incredible event, with 4,400 athletes coming from over 180 countries, incredible performances and life stories. It is also a challenge, we are starting from a little far away, it is still quite unknown in France.

The Games are a marathon that is run at 100m speed. It scrolls. What is encouraging is that we are on schedule. With very solid foundations.
