BASKETBALL PANORAMA

IN

DeplasmANTEP!

Gaziantep Basketball continues to be one of the most colorful teams in the league this season as well. The Red and Black team, which has been one of the teams that have made the healthiest moves in the “purchasing power-yield” equation in foreign player transfer for many years, won the points duel they entered in Anadolu Efes’ away game and ended 2021 with a glorious victory. It was remarkable that Gaziantep Basketball won 6 of 7 away games in the first half of the season with this win.

OUT

Tofas

Tofaş failed to win in three difficult matches in a row. Losing to Galatasaray NEF at home after Pınar Karşıyaka at home and Fenerbahçe BEKO away, Bursa team left their Turkish Cup visa for the last game they will play against HDI Sigorta Afyon. In Tofaş, the tides in the game were also the main factor in the defeat of Galatasaray.

CRUNCH TIME

The struggle between Darüşşafaka and Beşiktaş Icrypex was breathtaking. The Black-White team entered the last section advantageously with Whitehead’s three-pointers at the beginning of the overtime, in the fight that they came from behind and took them to overtime. However, Daçka, who took the lead again with Boothe’s three pointer with 18 seconds left, reached the critical victory with Doğuş’s free throws after Beşiktaş’s turnover with 1 second left in the last attack.
