One gold, two silver, and two bronzes for the Leonese judocas in the alevín. The Castilla y León Championship was held in Valladolid in the Alevín category (last of the year).

A contest in which more than two hundred competitors from the nine provinces took part, selected by clubs.

The Kyoto Club participated representing León, with seven competitors, led by their coaches Sara Terán and Álvaro Sánchez, obtaining five medals and two fifth places, in a long day of intense competition on three simultaneous tatami mats.

In the men’s category the results obtained were +66 kilos Hugo Fidalgo was champion, with -55 kilos Christian Barazón was runner-up, with -42 kilos Adrián Ferreras was third and with -38 kilos Saúl Blanco was also third.

Leonese representatives of the female category with their medals and recognitions.

In the female category, they were with -48 kilos Jara Álvarez who finished runner-up, as well as Africa González in 52 kilos, and Cristina Rey in 40 kilos, disputed the bronze without achieving it, remaining in a meritorious fifth position.
