Official: amateur football on hiatus until January 17 … at least

This was to be expected after the crisis meeting between ACFF, VV and Pro League on Monday, which followed last week’s Codeco: amateur football is on hiatus again. A decision that concerns the first teams, women and young people. And this until January 17 at least. If the health situation does not improve, we will postpone everything for 10 days. Indeed, according to the authorities, it is not financially possible to play football in amateur clubs if spectators are not admitted.

Following the CODECO of December 22, 2021, the ACFF Board meeting of December 23, 2021 and the RBFA-ACFF-Pro League-VV National Crisis Committee meeting of December 27, 2021, here are the decisions relating to the competitions concerning ACFF amateur clubs:

1st men’s national division + 1st and 2nd women’s national divisions : postponement of all official matches until Monday 17.01.2021 inclusive. If there is no relaxation with regard to spectator attendance at the Concertation Committee in mid-January, this postponement of all official matches in these categories will be automatically extended until 28.01.2021.

D2 and D3 ACFF, all interprovincial, provincial and regional competitions of first teams, reserves and age teams :

postponement of all official matches until Monday 17.01.2021 inclusive. If there is no relaxation with regard to spectator attendance at the Concertation Committee in mid-January, this postponement of all official matches in these categories will be automatically extended until 28.01.2021.

training sessions and friendly matches are authorized in accordance with the protocol for the practice of sports activities published by the Wallonia-Brussels Federation.

the days and isolated matches postponed will be scheduled by the competent committees from the general resumption of competitions.

To date, the ACFF Board’s will is still to complete all the 2021-2022 competitions, according to the prescribed regulatory formulas.
