“Of course, I’m ready to have this uncomfortable discussion with LeBron”

LeBron James is on indefinite sideline due to COVID, so he’s going to have to find a way to deal with here when he returns. He might be able to respond to an invitation from another league star, who has asked to have an awkward discussion with him.

LeBron James is definitely not spared at the start of the season with an injury which resulted in a substantial absence, and now with COVID. For the first since the start of the pandemic, the King has tested positive by the league, and he will have to watch the Lakers from home for at least 10 days. Hopefully the 2020 champions won’t go down without the captain at the helm.

In any case, during this forced absence, LeBron will have to find how to deal with it. Visibly in good shape in the words of Anthony Davis, he will undoubtedly spend several hours a day in his personal gym to keep in shape and to get back to the top of his game. And if he wishes, he will finally have time to respond to the many attacks on him.

Enes Kanter wants to speak openly with LeBron James

A UFC superstar didn’t mince words days ago, as did Enes Kanter, who made LeBron his # 1 target in the media. Each interview revolves around the King’s silence on the situation in China, something the new American citizen strongly denounces. During a passage on ESPN, the one who now calls himself “Freedom” still extended his hand to the King.

Obviously I would love to sit down with LeBron for a chat. I’m sure it would be a very disturbing conversation for him and I’m not sure if he would like this. If we met I would do anything to put him at ease. I don’t know if he’s educated enough, but I’m here to educate him and to help him, because it’s not all about money in this story.

In fact it is a question of morals, a question of principles, a question of values. It’s about what he stands for. There are more things in life than money. Even if LeBron stopped making money today, his family would have the best life imaginable for generations and generations.

Enes Kanter Freedom denounces LeBron James’ stance on China because he thinks he is simply afraid of losing all ties with this commercially valuable country. Indeed, still according to the interior of the Celtics, the King could lose all his sponsors and still live decently, reason enough to tackle such a thorny subject. It’s a safe bet that this invitation will go unanswered.

Enes Kanter Freedom won’t let go… He wants to talk to LeBron James about his silence on China, and he probably won’t stop his statements until he gets what he wants.
