Nogales basketball stars shine in the tournament After noting that the dates for the final are yet to be defined, he added that the best athletes in the men’s and women’s league participate – El Sol de Orizaba

Nogales, Ver.- The auditorium of the Municipal Palace became the setting for the Basketball All-Star Game, with a view to the finals of the Inteweekly Basketball League tournament, announced the organizer of the meeting, Josué Vergara.

Noting that the dates for the final are yet to be defined, he added that the best athletes in the men’s and women’s league participate.

He indicated that the talent exhibition meeting was made thinking about the preparation of the most outstanding players in this league, where there are 14 teams in the men’s category, and 12 more in the women’s branch.

“The intention of the tournament is to promote and promote the rush sport among the youth of Nogales,” he added.

He recognized that the level of play of basketball players is very good, so holding this type of tournaments is beneficial because it motivates the boys. He thanked the coordinated participation of the Comude de Nogales led by Jorge Maldonado, and the support of the mayor, Guillermo Mejía Peralta, for supporting sports, as they thus promote recreation and healthy coexistence of young people, which in these times require greater attention.

“It is the Second Edition of the All-Star Game and everyone was satisfied, thus, the players train, prior to the finals of this basketball league, in the midst of pertinent sanitary measures,” he stressed.

He highlighted the participation of players, such as Ingrid Ordaz, from the women’s branch, who has appeared in various leagues and has been screened at the state and national level.

He recognized for his talent the basketball player Víctor Rodríguez, who is a Mexican selected in the men’s branch, aged 16, who played in Colombia, Spain and Guatemala; and in this tournament he made a difference.

Finally, Josué Vergara invited the youth of Nogales to play basketball. “That the parents bring the children closer, since an important seedbed is formed. I want you to know that we have a national tournament on our doorstep in the Port of Veracruz, where we will have the representation of the force from 2011 to 2012 ”, he concluded.
