NFL: Seahawks turn to Adrian Peterson

Running back Adrian Peterson is not done with the NFL.

After being released by the Tennessee Titans, the 36-year-old running back has now come to terms with the Seattle Seahawks. He will join the training team over the next few days.

In three games with the Titans this season, Peterson has been limited to 82 yards and has only one touchdown. Last season, he had 604 yards and scored seven touchdowns with the Detroit Lions.

With Chris Carson injured, the Seahawks turned to Alex Collins for the running back position, but he has disappointed so far. On Monday night, he only got 14 yards on seven carries. The Seahawks sit last in the National’s West Division with a 3-8 record.
