NFL running back Dalvin Cook no longer on COVID-19 list

The Minnesota Vikings will be able to salute the return to the game of their running back Dalvin Cook on Sunday.

The organization said on Wednesday that Cook’s name was taken off the COVID-19 list. He can therefore be at his post in front of the Green Bay Packers. Cook has amassed 1,067 yards since the start of the campaign. It ended up on the COVID-19 list on December 23.

The Vikings have however announced that wide receiver Adam Thielen is on the injured list. Earlier this week, ESPN reported that the receiver had undergone left ankle surgery that would end his season. He was injured against the Detroit Lions on Dec. 6, but returned to the game after missing two games.

He was injured again in the clash in front of the Los Angeles Rams. This season, Thielen has amassed 726 yards and scored 10 touchdowns.

The Vikings are still trying to advance to the qualifiers in the National with a record of 7-8.
