The former player of the Rams, Otis Anderson Jr. was found dead Monday night inside his residence in Jacksonville, and police arrested his father as the prime suspect in the crime.
According to the information provided by News4jax, the incident occurred during a shooting that would have been generated by the father of the runner, Otis Lee Anderson, who also attacked the athlete’s mother.
The 52-year-old is charged with second-degree murder and attempted second-degree murder, according to the local Sheriff’s Office. The police indicated that the shooting took place around 9:30 p.m., but It was not until this Tuesday that it was confirmed that the deceased was Otis Anderson Jr.

The fatal victim had a gunshot wound to the chestwhile her mother, Denis Anderson, suffered scrapes and was admitted to a Jacksonville hospital.
Denis Anderson related to the police that The problem started when Otis Anderson Jr.’s girlfriend’s dog bit his father. The footballer went down to see what had happened and that was when the impasse began.
Through social media the Rams, they sent condolences for the death of the player, that although he had not been considered in the team, he was in the training squad.
