NFL 2020 Power Ranking – Week 10: birds take a bite

On Wednesdays on TDActu, it’s Power Ranking! 3, 2, 1, Go!

Bad times to be a bird in the NFL right now. Aside from the and Cardinals (+1) rescued at the last moment and the Falcons (+2) on rest, everyone else is in trouble this week. At the top of the standings, Ravens (-1) and Seahawks (-3) lose ground, while the Eagles (-2) continue their disastrous season. While conversely, in the top 10, the Buccaneers (+3) and Colts (+3) are replaced after a complicated week 9.

The very good operation of the weekend comes in any case from the Patriots (+6) who find a more decent position. The same cannot be said anyway for the Titans (-4), Texans (-4) and Chargers (-4).

Time passes, it’s time to take stock. Here is our ranking. This hierarchy is not only based on the number of successes, but also on the form of the moment. If two teams are close and haven’t played each other recently, one wonders which one would win if the match was played today. Beating the strongest isn’t going to propel you to the top in a snap. Losing to one of the dunces won’t plunge you into the Abyss, either. You can win and tumble, tilt and climb.

It is the merciless law of Power Ranking …

1. Pittsburgh Steelers (9-0)

You have to go back 11 years to find traces of a team that started the season 9-0 and won the Super Bowl: the Saints in 2009. The example for Pittsburgh to follow.

Alex Smith didn’t win the game, but he did at least earn his starting spot in the capital.

Week 11: reception of the Bengals.
