Today, in the only game of the English Premier League, Newcastle United played a 1-1 draw against Manchester United, ending a series of three victories.

The Newcastle team took the lead in the seventh minute of the match, when Alan Saints-Maximins came out after Sean Lognstaph. In the first half, Manchester players had control of the ball, winning by 69% vs. 31%.

The second half took place in a much more aggressive atmosphere, with both teams earning several yellow cards. Manchester’s Edinsons Kavani had an excellent opportunity after 71 minutes, shooting on a through ball down the right hand side, but he missed the goal by miles! This was just the second goal for Kavani this season. At the end of the regular time, Newcastle footballers had a great chance to win, but they remained untapped.

Manchester United, with 28 points in 17 duels, is currently ranked seventh in the English Championship standings, while Newcastle United are in 19th place in 19 battles with 19 points in 19 battles.
