The year 2021 is coming to an end. As in the previous year, it was heavily influenced by the corona pandemic. For this year’s turn of the year iIn 53 areas, a firecracker and a gathering ban were issued. The aim is to relieve hospitals and emergency services that are already working at their limit due to the Corona crisis. Despite the bans, the police and fire brigade expect many missions and are accordingly on duty with additional officers. The police are also preparing for demonstrations. Opponents of the Corona measures have announced that they want to demonstrate in Berlin from noon. (More on this in the news blog below.)
