NBA – George injured too: Clippers without a second superstar

Los Angeles (SID) – The Los Angeles Clippers from the North American professional basketball league NBA have to do without all star Paul George for at least a month. As the team of the German shooting star Isaiah Hartenstein announced on Saturday, the top scorer will be out due to an elbow injury that he had already suffered on December 6th. The Los Angeles Times reported that the pain recurred after Thursday’s game against the Sacramento Kings.

George is the second superstar the Clippers are missing. Kawhi Leonard has not played a game this season after his cruciate ligament surgery. Hartenstein (23) is also injured. The Center is out with an ankle injury.

Without Leonard, George (31) was the leader of the team from California, which was fifth in the west with 17 wins and 15 defeats before the NBA Christmas Games. George has achieved an average of 24.7 points so far. The Clippers play for the Denver Nuggets on Monday.
