NBA: Bulls and Heat penalized for communicating too quickly with Ball and Lowry

The NBA announced Wednesday the imposition of penalties on the Chicago Bulls and the Miami Heat in connection with too hasty communications with players, last summer, before the opening of the autonomous market.

Evidence obtained by the NBA concluded that the Bulls acted too quickly on Lonzo Ball, and the Heat acted the same in the Kyle Lowry case.

According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Chicago and Miami will forgo a second-round pick in the next draft.

Wojnarowski said a fine of up to $ 10 million and the temporary suspension of senior executives were among the other penalties that could have been imposed on both organizations.
