The Red Star, current 12th in the National championship, has decided to expand its staff. And it is on the side of OL that the club went to look for the future assistant of Habib Beye on the bench, in the person of Pierre Sage, as reported by L’Équipe.

This trainer, particularly within the FFF, has been taking care of the Rhone U16s since 2019. He was also general manager of Bourg-Péronnas and assistant to Karim Mokeddem in Lyon-Duchère during the 2018-2019 season. This tactician also taught at the University of Lyon 1, in particular physical and mental preparation.

As Le Progrès tells it, Pierre Sage has never hidden his desire to see higher, namely the professional world: “I prefer to say that I have ambition and fail than not to show it. Obviously, I aspire to train the greatest and at the best level. “

Eliminated by AS Monaco on December 19 in the 32nd final of the Coupe de France, the Red Star climbed back to 12th place in the National championship thanks to his two consecutive successes against … Bourg-Péronnas (2- 1) and Sedan (3-1).
