Nagelsmann makes you sit up and take notice with a vaccination announcement – football

Corona chaos has ruled Bayern Munich in the last few weeks. However, coach Julian Nagelsmann promises a trend reversal soon.

Five Munich players (Joshua Kimmich, Serge Gnabry, Jamal Musiala, Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting and Michael Cuisance) hit the headlines because they were the only squad players not to have themselves vaccinated against the corona virus.

As a result, the quintet dropped out last, all players had to go through a corona quarantine twice. In the meantime, Kimmich and Choupo-Moting have infected themselves with Covid-19, thereby also missing the German “classic” between Borussia Dortmund and Bayern on Saturday evening (6.30 p.m.).

“On the way in the right direction”

However, similar failures should not occur in the future, as Julian Nagelsmann revealed to the “world”, which caused a sensation. “I no longer have this worry, we are heading in the right direction. We should soon be able to put that aside,” said the coach shooting star.

“It is up to the players to comment in detail. In any case, I can say that I am confident that we will not have as many negative points of contact with the topic in the future as we did recently,” said Nagelsmann Bayern stars have now rethought.

Reports had already circulated in Germany that Gnabry and Musiala wanted to be vaccinated after all. Kimmich would also think about a corona bite, the German team boss Hansi Flick had recently revealed. The same goes for Cuisance.

For the time being, the fact that Kimmich and Choupo-Moting receive the convalescent status after surviving corona infection will ease the situation in the Bayern squad.
