The collaboration between Eintracht Frankfurt and Fabio Blanco is apparently labeled as a misunderstanding. According to information from the Catalan newspaper ‘Sport’, the 17-year-old will move to FC Barcelona in January.
There Blanco signed a contract until the summer of 2024, the winger is initially planned for Barça’s second team. According to ‘Sport’, the Blaugrana pay a manageable transfer fee to Eintracht Frankfurt, more significant payments can follow if Blanco is successful with the professionals.
In the second attempt
Barcelona was one of the many interested parties for the junior international last summer when he was under contract with FC Valencia. The young Spaniard decided to move into the Bundesliga, but was only used there for Frankfurt’s U19s.
Nevertheless, the SGE was patient, put a stop to a winter change and wanted to introduce Blanco further through the A-youth.
