The Globe Soccer Awards are an election of the EFAA, the European Real Estate Agency, and the ECA, the organization that represents clubs in Europe.
Mbappe beat five other nominees: Lionel Messi, Robert Lewandowski, Cristiano Ronaldo, Mohamed Salah and Karim Benzema. Mbappé succeeds Lewandowski on the honors list.
Gianluigi Donnarumma (PSG) was voted Goalkeeper of the Year after the European Championship win with Italy, ahead of Red Devil Thibaut Courtois (Real Madrid).
Among the women, the top prize went to Barcelona midfielder Alexia Putellas. The 27-year-old Spanish won the Champions League and was previously awarded the Ballon d’Or.
