Master Ignazio Gravina obtained the important recognition of the 6th Dan of Karate from FIJLKAM, Italian Federation of Judo Fight Karate Martial Arts, during the exams that took place at the federal Olympic center in Ostia on 27 November last.
In the presence of the federal president Domenico Falcone and the examining commission made up of the best teachers of the federation and national team technicians including Cinzia Colaiacomo, Davide Benetello, Claudio Culasso, Yamada Kohei and Santo Torre, the Coratino technician of the Life Club company obtained the prestigious recognition that is conferred after severe exams for merits achieved in teaching, for proven dedication to the martial art and for the spread of karate and its values. Master Gravina, who in his competitive career has already obtained important results, passed the exam by passing the practical part and discussing a thesis concerning the educational and socio-cultural aspects of karate as a means of training.
