Lydia Valentín’s new challenge

Data from the World Health Organization warn of low levels of physical activity and intake of fruit and vegetables around the world.

More than a quarter of the world’s population, 1.4 billion people, do not reach a sufficient level of physical activity, and only 14.3% of Europeans consume five or more pieces of fruit and vegetables a day.

For this reason, CuTE Healthy, made up of FruitVegetablesEUROPE and national fruit and vegetable associations of Spain, France and Poland, have launched a new promotion program, CuTE Healthy – Cultivating a Healthy Europe with Fruit and vegetables from EUROPE.

Raise consumer awareness

It is the biggest healthy challenge in Europe to raise consumer awareness of the importance of doing physical activity and consuming five servings of European fruit and vegetables a day, the campaign features elite athletes such as Ona Carbonell or Lydia Valentín.

With small gestures we can change our habits to make them healthier.

With this #LongLifeChallenge, in addition to promoting products originating in the European Union, they trust that the habits of European consumers will move towards healthier models.
