Since the Los Angeles Lakers have some players in the NBA’s corona protocol, the Californians had recently secured the services of Isaiah Thomas. As the franchise has now announced, the development player will not receive a new offer after his ten-day contract has expired. The American becomes a free agent.
The 32-year-old was hired to help out with personnel bottlenecks, as long-term employment with the Lakers was not possible due to the contractual structures. With an average of 9.3 points and 1.5 assists in just under 25 minutes, Thomas was able to recommend himself to other teams. Allegedly, several teams should show interest in the former All-Star.
