On vacation in Dubai (United Arab Emirates), Kylian Mbappé also takes the opportunity for a more media tour. On Monday, he attended the Globe Soccer Awards to receive the player of the year trophy and to answer a few questions. The PSG striker also gave an interview to the American channel CNN, which broadcasts it this Tuesday. Asked about his future and the interest of Real Madrid as his end of contract approaches in Paris, Mbappé politely dismisses the question.
“This is not really the time for me to talk about it because we are in the most important part of the season and we face Real Madrid (Editor’s note: in the knockout stages of the Champions League), recalls- he in this interview conducted in English. So the only thing I have in mind is to beat Real Madrid in February and March. We are ready and I am ready to play and give everything for PSG ”. More generally, Mbappé shows his confidence about this double European confrontation: “We played six months to adapt to the new players (…) We have the team to win”.

During the interview, the French world champion talks about his happiness to play alongside the seven-time Ballon d’Or Lionel Messi. “It’s hard for me to imagine that I can play with him,” he smiles. Lionel Messi will only return on Sunday January 2 like the rest of the South Americans (Neymar, Marquinhos, Leandro Paredes, Angel Di Maria, Mauro Icardi).
