Kawasaki Takatsu Rotary Club Supporting elementary school basketball Held the first crown tournament, donated by Uni | Takatsu Ward

“Kawasaki Takatsu Rotary Club” (Chairman Toshikazu Ito), who is engaged in local service activities, held an elementary school basketball crown tournament on December 5th. The main purpose is to popularize competitions in Kawasaki City and to develop the mind and body of young people. The club officials warmly watched the players’ activities at the Takatsu Sports Center, which was the venue on the day of the event.

This year, the club is developing a support project to support elementary school basketball competitions in Kawasaki City and help them develop the mind and body of young people and improve their sports skills.

As part of this activity, we sponsored the tournament and held the “Kawasaki Takatsu Rotary Club Cup” for the first time. At the time of the event, we donated winning trophies, medals, and banners for the tournament.

The tournament also serves as a qualifying round for the Kawasaki branch, which was to participate in the prefecture’s mini basketball final tournament.

(One company) The teams in the city belonging to the Kanagawa Basketball Association U12 (12 years old or younger) subcommittee / Kawasaki branch fought a fierce battle from mid-November, and the final day of the tournament was held. The Asao Ward team won the championship for both men and women, and the new trophy was presented.

Chairman encourages players

Chairman Ito, who gave a greeting at the closing ceremony, encouraged the players who demonstrated their daily achievements. I was looking forward to a further leap forward.
