Judo – Margaux Pinot victim of domestic violence

The Olympic team judo champion at the last Tokyo Olympics was the victim of domestic violence this weekend by her companion and ex-coach Alain Schmitt. According to the judokate, an argument would have turned out badly, Alain Schmitt must go to immediate appearance on Tuesday.

The facts took place in Blanc-Mesnil where everyone lives on his own. Saturday returning from the evening Schmitt went to his companion Margaux Pichot with whom the latter has a hidden relationship. The two individuals then start a conversation about their future. Schmitt was to leave the next day for 3 years in Israel to take charge of the women’s team. A conversation that turned badly since the two came to blows. Alain would then have struck several punches in the face of his companion before ending up on the ground with “judo holds” according to the young woman’s words to investigators.

Following this fight, Margaux Pinot would have managed to extricate herself, despite her face and her hair covered in blood, to take refuge with her neighbor who immediately warned the police. Allain Schmitt was arrested around 2:30 am and was taken directly into custody. As for Margaux Pinot, she was taken to the emergency hospital, the latter no longer able to open her eyes. Alain Schmitt will admit having hit his partner and will be brought before the Bobigny judicial court this Tuesday.
