Isaiah Thomas considers trying his luck outside the NBA

It’s been more than seven months since Isaiah Thomas made his last NBA game appearance. Since then, the point guard takes advantage of every window of national team matches to claim his chances in the best league in the world. This remains the main goal of the one-day two-time All-Star. However, the idea of going to Europe or other places begins to flutter Thomas’s head. “If at some point the NBA is no longer an option, I will have to consider playing outside of North America” declares for Associated Press.

“The goal is still to return to the NBA, but I love competing and I love basketball,” assured the point guard before hinting at his possible change of scenery and after signing 21 points in the United States’ victory over Cuba. During the past offseason, several franchises tested Thomas in private training. But neither the Lakers, nor the Warriors, nor the Celtics, nor the Mavericks ended up signing him a contract. In between, rumors arose about a possible march to CSKA that the player was quick to deny.
