ANKARA (AA) – Beşiktaş Icrypex defeated Türk Telekom 64-54 in the 12th week of the ING Basketball Super League.

The 5th minute of the match, in which both teams had difficulty in being effective in the attack, was passed with the equality of 7-7. Beşiktaş Icrypex, who went to the conclusion with fast attack and three-point shots, carried the score to 20-7 with a 13-0 series under the leadership of Egehan Arna. The first period of the match was passed with the 20-11 superiority of the visiting team.

Using the pot gold better with Samet Geyik in the second period, Türk Telekom reduced the lead to 4 points (28-32) with Clemmons’ successful three pointer. In the last part of the quarter, the black and white team, who did not make mistakes with Egehan in the free throws, increased the difference to 8 with Reaves’ last-second basket and went ahead 36-28 into the locker room.

Even though Türk Telekom reduced the gap to 4 points (51-55) with a basket by Can Uğur Öğüt from behind the three-point line with 3 minutes and 19 seconds before the end of the match, Beşiktaş Icrypex, who recovered, won the match 64-54.
