In Rovigo at school with England scrum coach Matt Proudfoot

ROVIGO – Matt Proudfoot, former Scottish international player, of South African origin, he wore the Glasgow Warriors and Edinburgh Rugby shirts. From 2020 fowards coach of England Rugby, he was coach of the forwards from 2009 to 2015 of the Stormers; from 2010 to 2015 he joined the red and blue coach Allister Coetzee in the Cape Town team. The two coaches also worked together before in 2015/16 in Japan with the Kobelco Steelers, then in the 2016/17 season at the helm of the Springboks. In 2019 Proudfoot was assistant coach of Rassie Erasmus, thus contributing to the victory of the South African national team at the Rugby World Cup.

Matt Proudfoot, in line with the project of Allister Coetzee to take rugby from Rovigo and Polesano to a higher level, Sunday 9 January there will be a clinic, open to coaches and fans not only of the territory, whose focus will be the set pieces: mix, touch and maul.

To participate in the Clinic it is necessary to have a Green Pass.
