Hertha BSC can look forward to reinforcement during the winter break. Fredrik Andre Björkan (23) comes to Hertha from FK Bodö Glimt / Norway. He receives a contract until 2025.

“Fredrik brings a lot of dynamism and plays a lot in every game. He interprets the left-back offensively without neglecting his defensive duties,” said Sport Director Fredi Bobic.

Goalkeeper Rune Jarstein is planning to be absent for the time being. According to the association’s announcement, the Norwegian was operated on on Wednesday due to recent complaints in the rehabilitation training, the operation went smoothly.

Jarstein (37) can therefore “only return to the field in the coming year after a rehabilitation phase lasting several weeks”. The new trainer Tayfun Korkut, Successor of the sacked Pal Dardai, makes his debut on Sunday in a league game at VfB Stuttgart (from 3:30 p.m. in the t-online live ticker).
