Guaireño Wilmer Font will launch again in Korea

The right pitcher, Wilmer Font, will play in South Korean baseball with SSG Landers once again, reported the Meridiano website.

Font signs for one year, with an agreement that includes 1.1 million dollars in salary, and 200,000 in incentives.

The right-handed shotgunner from La Guaira state shot in 2021 with the team, where he posted a 8-5 record with a 3.46 record in 25 games.

The Guaireño there had the role of starter, since the 25 challenges were in that condition. He pitched 145 and two-thirds, with a walk-to-strikeout ratio of 45/157 and a 1.09 whip.

He has not pitched in Major League Baseball (MLB) since 2020 when with the Toronto Blue Jays he acted for a space of 16 and a third with an ERA of 9. Of course, being a reliever.

In Venezuela, he belongs to the Lions of Caracas, a team with which he has not pitched since the 2016-2017 campaign.
