Super League teams, just like in football, decided to establish the Association of Clubs. Galatasaray President Burak Elmas, Anadolu Efes President Tuncay Özilhan and Karşıyaka President Turgay Büyükkarcı were also present at the historical summit in basketball, where Beşiktaş was represented by the branch president, Umut Şenol. At the meeting, where a consensus was reached on the establishment of the Basketball Clubs Association, issues such as TV broadcasting rights, tax refunds and increasing revenues were discussed.
