It is a phenomenon which strikes again the Val-d’Oise at the end of the year. In recent days, the police intervened following several brawls between gangs, in particular in front of the Van-Gogh high school in Ermont.
Sunday 5 December 2021 in the evening, it is in Sannois that the police officers were requested following a confrontation again between young people of the district of Chênes, in Ermont, and the “locals” of the city of the Lodges.

It was the agents of the Urban Supervision Center who gave the alert shortly before 11 p.m. On their screens, the latter spotted several individuals with faces hidden by their hoods and other masks and armed in particular with baseball bats, at the Rodin mall. A violent fight between the two bands breaks out.
When the police arrive, the protagonists are still there. The police then use their launchers of defense bullets and tear gas canisters to disperse them.

Three wounded found in mail Paul-Verlaine are rescued by firefighters and doctors from Samu. One of them, having had a cut hand after being attacked with a stabbing weapon, was transported in absolute urgency to the Argenteuil hospital center. Rescue workers took the other two individuals who had bruises after being hit with baseball bats to the same hospital.
A fourth victim will be taken care of by the firefighters in the evening. He is a 24-year-old policeman from the Ermont police station with a wrist during the intervention. He was hospitalized in Eaubonne.
Nine young people, suspected of having taken part in the violence, were arrested by the officials. They were caught up in their flight, allée Jean-de-Florette. Aged 18 and 21, they were taken into police custody.
