Logroño Sport inaugurated this Monday the ‘Mini heroes’ Campus in which around forty children participate this holiday. There are still places for next week, the organization points out in a note, since there are currently 24 signed up for this week and 11 for the next.
This morning the Councilor for Sports, Rubén Antoñanzas, came to the Las Gaunas Municipal Sports Center, the venue for this Christmas edition, to meet the participants of this first shift.
From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., these «mini heroes» between 6 and 12 years of age «enjoy all the possibilities that this sports center can offer them», indicates the note. As Antoñanzas has pointed out, “large spaces, with very high ceilings, with ventilation … to be able to safely enjoy sports and games with friends.”

This center is especially indicated for a program of these characteristics and in times of restrictions, it is insisted. “We have large halls but also a fronton with a climbing wall and the new skateboard circuit. Many places to develop interesting proposals for them for sure. A security that is also ensured by our monitors, committed professionals with an enthusiastic character, as we see in each edition ”, stressed the Councilor for Sports.
The physical activities programmed are: climbing, skateboarding, fencing, athletics, volleyball, racquetball, badminton, dances, crafts, traditional games, etc.
Registrations and places available
For next week (3, 4 and 5 January) there are still free places. It has a price of 35 euros for subscribers and 70 for users. There is also the possibility of hiring a single day, for 18 euros a day, as long as there are places available. Registrations can be formalized through the Logroño Sport website (www.logronodeporte.es)
This initiative arises from the success of the ‘Mini Heroes’ held in Las Norias during the summers, they add, and that 310 children enjoyed this year after the expansion of the number of places.
