Former Raiders coach John Madden dies at 85

After 158 games as a coach and a long walk through the sports broadcast boothss, John Madden built one of the greatest legacies in NFL history. This Tuesday, this large race has come to an end.

Unsurpassed legacy

Madden, who took the reins of the Raiders in 1969, a position he held for 10 seasons, left an enviable mark of 112-39-7 (includes postseason) and the epitome of his time in Oakland was winning Super Bowl XI.

The legendary coach chose to move away from the end zone, but remained closely tied to the NFL for 30 years. In 1979 he joined CBS as an analyst and for three decades he indulged in sports broadcasts. para Fox Sports, ABC y NBC.
