Former Denver Broncos wide receiver Demaryius Thomas dead at 33

Demaryius Thomas, former Denver Broncos wide receiver and Super Bowl winner with them in 2016, was found dead at his home Thursday in Georgia. He was 33 years old and had ended his career two seasons ago after a short stint with the New York Jets.

According to the police, ” the first information shows that his death follows a health problem. Our investigators currently have no reason to believe otherwise “. A cousin of Demaryius Thomas said he was suffering from epileptic seizures and that the family believe one of them was fatal.

Thomas had played 10 years in the NFL, for 724 receptions, 9,763 yards and 63 touchdowns. He had been an All-Star four times. The Denver Broncos and many players including Tom Brady (see below), paid tribute to him.
