The match of the ninth highest football league between the teams Dorking Reserves and Epsom & Ewell was really fun. One of the players did not stop receiving a red card from the referee and went to solve it manually. The referee was then decided by one of the opponents, but in the end he caught it as well. The aggressor was released immediately. The case is still being investigated by the police.
The whole situation took place in a more or less determined state, when the home team led 3: 0 in the second half of the second half, but this may have been the reason why the guests started to get nervous. The judge awarded a red card to one of them, which greatly irritated him and he set out to resolve his frustration with force.
The referee backed away from him, but the aggressor chased him, and when the referee decided to defend one of the home players, both were punched. With the utmost effort, he finally managed to pull the rapist off the field, but of course his behavior will not go unnoticed.
“We would like to apologize to the referees and Dorking players. We will not tolerate such behavior in our club and we feel extremely embarrassed by what happened during the match.“The visiting team has issued an official statement.”We released the players with immediate effect. We thank the home team for their hospitality and apologize again, “said Epsom & Ewell.
But it does not end with dismissal for an aggressive player. His actions will be further investigated by the police.
