FC Bayern: Investigations against Bosse Kahn, Salihamidzic, Rummenigge – Bundesliga

Does FC Bayern have trouble with the judiciary?

According to a WDR report, current and former board members of the record champions are being investigated. These include board boss Oliver Kahn (52), sports director Hasan Salihamidzic (44) and ex-boss Karl-Heinz Rummenigge (66).

Why is?

The main customs office in Munich is to act on behalf of the Munich I public prosecutor’s office. The accusation: possible violations of the minimum wage law at Bavaria’s youth training center (NLZ). A letter from the main customs office should be available to the WDR magazine “Sport inside”.

FC Bayern is a stock corporation (AG). It is customary that investigations are always directed against the board members. The question of guilt of individual persons can then only be determined in the course of the investigation.

The deputy chairman of the board Jan-Christian Dreesen and board member Andreas Jung as well as board member Jörg Wacker, who resigned in September 2021, are also affected by the proceedings.

On Monday, the WDR asked the public prosecutor’s office, but they replied that customs had to do its job first. This begins with many witness interviews at the end of January.

Several former youth coaches had claimed to “Sport Inside” that they had worked much more than the permitted ten hours as part of their 450-euro job. Over Christmas, FC Bayern is said to have left a request regarding the procedure unanswered.
