FC Barcelona still finds a piggy bank for Ferran Torres | Primera Division

Ferran Torres traded Spain for England in 2020. Valencia’s youth product wanted to blossom under the wing of Pep Guardiola, but now he is already back in his homeland.

Torres signed a five-year contract with Barcelona. The Catalans pay 55 million euros, but specialized media know that the sum can still be increased by 10 million euros.

City is doing a golden business in this way, because it paid 25 million euros in August last year.

It is not clear when Torres can put on his new employer’s shirt. The Spanish striker has been in the basket since October.

In addition, Barcelona still has some homework to do to complete Torres’ debut.

There is a salary cap in the Spanish league, a measure that has thwarted Barça’s plans several times.

The club would have to force budgetary breathing room to sign Torres. For example, expensive birds such as Philippe Coutinho and Samuel Umtiti are massaged to the exit.
