FC Barcelona: Ansu Fati looks bad for Munich

Une of Xavi Hernández’s hopes for next Wednesday’s game against Bayern was the recovery of Ansu Fati. Right now the chances of him playing are minimal. The footballer has not yet rejoined the group and aligning him against the German team is too high a risk that the player and the medical services do not want to assume.

For the footballer to have real options to play that momentous match, Ansu would have to have added to training in this week before the game against Betis. That was the forecast they used in the locker room. However, this has not been the case and the forward continues to make a solo recovery.

Laporta does not see it at all clear

“It is something that the doctors will have to decide, but I think it is complicated,” Joan Laporta admitted in an interview he conducted this Friday on TV3. In Barcelona there is a lot of fear of a relapse of Ansu Fati. The footballer is key for Xavi Hernández, but running too much to play the game against Bayern could take its toll. Ansu was practically a year without playing and on his return he suffered a new injury very soon. And this is what you want to avoid.

Maximum caution

The footballer’s environment has recommended that he be very careful on his return. Ansu wants to play that game, but he is also aware that can not risk after having suffered this new injury. Although it is not ruled out one hundred percent, we will have to wait for training on Sunday and Monday to see how the player is doing, but at the moment the options for him to play the game are scarce.
