Vast condolences to Reggiolo for the death of Mauro Melli (photo), 72, overcome by a disease that was diagnosed a few months ago. He died in the Guastalla hospital, where the body was made available for organ donation, with the cornea explant carried out yesterday. Melli had been a driver of the Act for a long time, at the wheel of extra-urban races on various lines in the Reggio area and beyond. Auser had also been a volunteer, alongside people with disabilities. He was also fond of archery, a sport he practiced on vacation with friends. He leaves his daughters Claudia and Roberta, his sister Sara (who runs the Fusari butcher shop in the center of Reggiolo with the family), nephews and other relatives.
The funeral, entrusted to the Melli agency, takes place today, starting at 2.30 pm from the mortuary of the Guastalla hospital for the parish church of Reggiolo, where the religious service is officiated at 3 pm. The body will then be transferred to Mantua for cremation. Any offers in his memory in favor of the Oncology of the Guastalla hospital.
