Ensenada Lobos, dominant champion in Cibapac – AGP Deportes

Ensenada, Baja California.- The university basketball teams of the three Cetys campuses held a tournament to reactivate this sport at the institution, after months of inactivity due to the pandemic.

In the first game, the Tijuana campus defeated the Ensenada campus by a final score of 84-77.

The best scorers for Tijuana were Manuel Remis with 18 points, Raúl Vázquez with 17 points and Yared Rodríguez with 16 points, while for Ensenada Alexis Santana with 33 points, Jorge Rodríguez with 17 and Antonio Salmón with 10.

For the second match, CETYS Mexicali beat Choys Rentals by a final score of 96 to 56 points, standing out for the winners Adriano Betancourt with 23 points, Eduardo Mendoza with 14 points and Sheg Jeff with 11 points, by the invited team the best scorer was Humberto Gullín with 16 points.

In the last game of the day, CETYS Mexicali obtained its second win of the day by a final score of 98 to 52 points, having as best scorers Jorge Escalante with 13 points, Adrián Betancourt and Sheng Jeff with 10 points and Eduardo Mendoza 12 points. Yared Rodríguez scored 25 points for the Tijuana team.

Alejandro Ortiz, sports coordinator of Cetys University Ensenada campus said that these tournaments are held as a form of coexistence between the three campuses “two years ago we were the headquarters of the Revolution Cup, but this time it could not be carried out, with which We are thinking at least of hitting a home run ”.

“Cetys University has remained firm in the sanitary protocols to avoid contagions, so all the games were held without an audience,” stressed Alejandro Ortiz.
