MEDAN, KOMPAS.TV – The Governor of North Sumatra, Edy Rahmayadi, admitted that he manipulated the billiards coach, Khoiruddin Aritonang alias Coki, out of compassion.
Edy’s explanation was delivered after the handover of land certificates for the people of North Sumatra by the Ministry of ATR at his official home, Medan, Tuesday (28/12/2021).
“Jewer dear, that’s his name,” said Edy.
However, Edy was reluctant to answer other questions about the dear jewer incident. He even answered another question.
“We’ll answer this later. This is a land issue first,” answered Edy.

The incident of expulsion by the Governor of North Sumatra Edy Rahmayadi occurred on Monday (27/12/2021).
The incident is still etched in Coki’s mind. He felt humiliated in public because he was expelled for not clapping when Edy gave his speech.
Even though Edy admitted that the jeweran was a sign of affection, he was already emotional.
Coki also said that he did not sleep in the middle of the distribution of bonuses for the XX Papua PON at the Tengku Rizal Nurdin Hall, the governor’s official residence in Medan, last Monday.
