Dynamo Dresden – Fake news spread on the Internet about May – 3rd league

Sebastian Mai (27) currently has to take a lot.

First the defender lost his regular place at Dynamo Dresden due to an injury, then coach Alexander Schmidt took the captain’s armband from him. Now he’s also being played badly on social networks.

A message appeared on Twitter and later on Facebook that the dynamo professional had been suspended from training due to ongoing proceedings and that an early termination of the contract was being sought.

It quickly became clear: a false report!

Dresden’s sports director Ralf Becker (51) explains: “Sebastian and I had direct contact when we came across this inglorious post. The statements made in it are absolutely not the facts. “

The post has now been deleted, but the question remains: Who is spreading such lies – and why?

Becker: “Apparently an individual tried very deliberately to bring in unrest.”

According to BILD information, both the club and the players are considering further steps. Mai wants to get legal advice on this.

If the originator or distributor of this fake news is a Dynamo member, an honorary council procedure would be conceivable. Legal action is also possible. Because defamation is a criminal offense.
