Drawing Semifinals BWF World Tour Finals: Minions Vs Olympic Champions

The draw for the semifinals of the BWF World Tour Finals 2021 has been completed. Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo/Marcus Fernaldi Gideon met Lee Yang/Wang Chi-lin again.

The draw for the semifinals of the BWF World Tour 2021 will be held at the Bali International Convention Center, Friday (3/12/2021) evening WIB, after all the group stage parties are complete. The draw started in mixed doubles, with Yuta Watanabe/Arisha Higashino meeting Tang Chun Man/Tse Ying Suet.

Meanwhile, Chan Peng Soon/Goh Liu Ying will face Dechapol Puavaranukroh/Sapsiree Taerattanachai. The draw continued for the women’s doubles number, where Indonesia had Greysia Polii/Apriyani Rahayu as representatives.

Greysia/Apriyani will play against Nami Matsuyama/Chiharu Shida, as well as repeat the final meeting of the Indonesia Open 2021. Meanwhile in the other part of the chart, they will meet Kim So-yeong/Kong Hee-yong vs Gabriela Stoeva/Stefani Stoeva.

In the men’s doubles, the world number one men’s doubles Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo/Marcus Fernaldi Gideon met again with Lee Yang/Wang Chi-lin. The two already faced off in the group stage with the Minions winning tight 23-21, 21-19.

Meanwhile, Ong Yew Sin/Teo Ee Yi met with Indonesia Masters 2021 champions Takuro Hoki/Yugo Kobayashi. After that, the draw continued to the women’s singles number.

Pornpawee Chochuwong meets An Seyoung and Pusarla V Sindhu faces Akane Yamaguchi. In men’s singles, world number one Viktor Axelsen met his opponents in the group phase of Lakshya Sen and Kunlavut Vitidsarn against Lee Zii Jia.
