Who will Schleswig-Holstein’s athlete, athlete and team of the year 2021? That will be decided at the hour in the House of Sports in Kiel.
In the Corona year 2021 competitions could finally take place again, but spectators – like at the Olympics in Tokyo – mostly had to be avoided. The big gala of the State Sports Association (LSV), with which the sporting year in Schleswig-Holstein traditionally ends, has to be canceled this year. Instead, an honor has been running since 6 p.m. in a smaller, non-public setting – and you can be there: the event will broadcast live on www.ndr.de/sh, and on NDR 1 Welle Nord we also switch live to the House of Sports in Kiel.
15 athletes and teams are nominated
Five nominations are represented in each category, until last Friday all those interested in sports in the country could vote online on ndr.de. 50 percent of the result will be included in the decision this evening, the other half will come from the votes of the professional associations of the state sports association and the association’s board as well as the voting by the Schleswig-Holstein Association of Sports Journalists. Tonight will also be the newcomer of the year. NDR Schleswig-Holstein is the media partner of the LSV athletes election.
