An engaging and likable exercise on paper, naming an all-time 5 major is actually a little headache, especially when it comes to not forgetting anyone. Damian Lillard, he gave his list without hesitation … even if it means surprising a little.
Ah, the famous 5 major all-time. A subjective, abstract request that is supposed to constitute the ultimate line-up in basketball history – a kind of Exodia the Cursed of the orange ball. The exercise has become much democratized in recent years, to the point that it is now a classic (or almost) in every interview with NBA players.

My 5 all-time is: Allen Iverson, Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Kevin Durant and Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Surprisingly enough, Lillard chooses to stick with current players, since 4 of the 5 lucky ones are still active. The other is obviously Allen Iverson, a role model for the Blazers guard in many ways, on and off the pitch.
The absences of Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan, Larry Bird, Shaquille O’Neal and others necessarily question, but we must believe that Dame DOLLA was contaminated by the madness of the “small ball”, and that her ideal 5 is more based on switches of all kinds and on a sneaker without fixed positions than on more traditional patterns.
