No new restrictions have been introduced for sports associations and all activities can continue to be discontinued. In areas with high infection, the Ministry of Culture has made a number of recommendations. In general, there are no restrictions for sports associations, and DGI and DIF encourage sports associations to continue to keep all activities going.

Association activities, rallies, matches, etc. can continue to be implemented with a focus on infection prevention measures, also in municipalities and parishes with high infection.

All sports associations are encouraged to have a special focus on infection prevention measures in general. That is, hand washing / alcohol, ventilation, increased cleaning and a general encouragement to stay home even with mild symptoms.

Recommendations for sports associations in municipalities and parishes with high infection

The Ministry of Culture, in collaboration with DIF and DGI, has prepared a set of recommendations in the area of children and young people for sports associations in municipalities and parishes with high infection.

We encourage all affected associations to follow:

Dress from home
To the extent possible, all children and young people are encouraged to show up dressed. However, the invitation does not apply in swimming pools and other places where it is not compatible with the activity.

Ask parents to drop off their children outdoors
If possible, ask parents to drop off and pick up their children outside the hall.

Keep distance
Remind parents and other adults to keep their distance where possible. The distance recommendation does not apply between athletes, coaches and between parents and children at child-adult activities, etc.

Divide the activities into smaller groups
If the activities can be planned in a natural way within small and fixed groups / teams, this is recommended.

See HERE if your municipality should follow the general advice and rules or the recommendations on infection prevention (scroll down the page)
