As happened twelve months ago with Charlie Mirabal, Collecchio Baseball announces the new manager with the imminent arrival of the new calendar year. Dorian Castro will lead Collecchio Baseball’s Serie A in the 2022 season. Agreement reached on the eve of the Christmas holidays.
Colombian, 43, Castro has lived in Italy since 2017. In his CV pitching coach of the youth sector of Fortitudo Bologna and manager of Athletics Bologna as well as overseas experiences in the Caimanes de Barranquilla and in North American teams. As a player, 19 seasons on the mound in championships around the world including an Italian interlude in 2005 in Mike Romano’s Rimini.
In Collecchio he will also hold the position of Pitching Coach. First training with the team set for Tuesday 11 January 2022.
