It just keeps on storming at Standard. The club barely takes points and the supporters want to see change. It does not look at the player group or the technical staff, but the board of the club is.
In recent weeks there have been several protests from Standard’s supporters and that happened again on Sunday. There may be no audience present, but about fifty supporters went to the stadium anyway and tried to force the door of the car park.
The target? Protest against the current board and ask for the resignation / departure of Bruno Venanzi, among others. The supporters in question went to the stadium with some banners, but were soon met by the police. That reports RTBF.
Standard lost to Zulte Waregem on Sunday and is therefore still thirteenth in the competition. It only counts 23 points after nineteen games.
We appeal to investors:
Unite, make peace, whatever you want but save us from this charade. Save the club and straighten out this dearest club. The supporters deserve much better than that… ???? pic.twitter.com/rVbRTSFOyI— Standard CL Belgique (@standard_bel) December 26, 2021
